Dear OFC Players and Participating Forum Owners,
Today is a very big day for Online Forum Challenge. It has been over 4 years since we first launched, and in that time, we have given away a staggering amount of cash and prizes. Most importantly, we have made a bunch a bunch of friends along the way.
It gives me great pleasure to share the next step in our journey with all of you. The Re-Launch of OFC will occur on this Thursday, July 29th, 2010. From now on, OFC will be redirected to the official Global Gaming Events site. GGE is the parent company that owns OFC, and several other brands of events that we are promoting.
I am very excited about the new version of the site. GGE will now be the one stop home for all of the great value-added tournaments that we run.
The new GGE site features:
- OFC (Online Forum Challenge)
- GGE Leagues
- FaME (stands for Freerolls and Money-added Events)
- Our newly formed LIVE! get-togethers
- Regular contests with prizes
- Polls
- Blogs
- Videos
- So much more to come…
We have a lot of plans in the works to make Global Gaming Events the best place to go to find the most fantastic value added tournaments in the entire online gaming industry. The new version of the site is a work in progress, so please be patient as we fix some things here and move some things over there.
For the next month, we will still be using the old pre-registration system from the old OFC site. We will be launching a new back end by the end of August that will make pre-registration, scoring, league tracking, and different types of events so much easier. This new back- end will be used to enhance the affiliate’s experience as well. More information about all of that will be coming soon.
On behalf of the entire staff of GGE, we are very excited to have you join us as we take our next step in to the future. As always, we welcome all comments and suggestions that you have.
